About us & acceptance

Ameya Bharat is a volunteer-led community initiative that encourages people of all ages across India to walk, run and stay active. This website is maintained by AmeyaBharat Sports & Fitness Private Limited ("Ameya Bharat", "we", "us"). By using this website or taking part in an activity we help bring together, you accept these Terms and Conditions and any safety guidelines and waiver shown when you sign up.

Taking part, contributions & payments

• Where a community walk or run has a registration fee or contribution, the amount is shown clearly before you pay, is charged in Indian Rupees (INR), and is inclusive of applicable taxes.
• Any eligibility conditions for an activity (for example, age) are stated when you sign up.
• Payments are processed securely by our payment partner (Razorpay). We do not store your card, UPI or banking credentials.
• A paid sign-up is confirmed only after successful payment, upon which a reference ID is sent to you by email.
• Fees and contributions are non-refundable except as set out in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
• Sign-ups are personal and non-transferable except with our written consent.

On the day

• We may change an activity's schedule, route or venue for safety, weather or regulatory reasons; changes are shared on this website and/or by email.
• Participation is at your own risk, as set out in the health & safety waiver accepted when you sign up. Please move at a pace that is comfortable for you.
• Photographs or videos taken at community activities, in which participants may appear, may be shared to encourage others to get active.

General

• We may refuse or cancel a sign-up that contains false or misleading information.
• These terms are governed by the laws of India and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Indian courts.
